About Us

Hopebridge Autism Therapy Center was established in 2005 to satisfy the rising need for specialized autism treatment services and to make a positive and significant difference in the lives of affected children and their families.

Its first-of-its-kind LLC program, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, offers personalized outpatient ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis), feeding, occupational, and speech therapies for children with autism spectrum disorder and those navigating physical, behavioral, communication, social, and sensory challenges. In addition, it provides hope, support, and care to patients and their families nationwide.

Its Autism Therapy Centers continue to provide attentive, compassionate care to patients from over 100 sites in the United States, including Indiana, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, Kentucky, Colorado, Arkansas, Ohio, and Oklahoma 15 years later.

The Hopebridge program began with the idea of Founder Kim Strunk, who served children throughout the neighborhood at the time. As an occupational therapist, Strunk saw that many of the children in her care displayed symptoms often associated with autism and that many of the parents of these children hurried from place to place to ensure that their children received proper treatment. Strunk quickly concluded that there must be a better way to provide these children and families with the care they require and deserve.

Strunk's multidisciplinary, evidence-based approach, anchored on applied behavior analysis, soon followed (ABA). Unfortunately, Strunk's program did not conform to the prevalent paradigm for conventional autism therapy at the time. In addition, insurance providers needed to recognize or fund ABA services, making them inaccessible to many. Nonetheless, with the assistance of her team, Strunk's perseverance and resolve secured expanded treatment alternatives and opportunities for its patients throughout the community.

After more than 15 years, underserved populations in the region and various states have access to high-quality, specialized ABA services and treatment. What began as a vision and a single facility in Indiana is now one of the largest autism therapy centers in the United States, connecting thousands of families with high-quality autism treatment.

Its Autism Therapy Centers, led by Strunk and a team of competent, seasoned clinicians, seek to provide the excellent care and expert therapy children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) require and deserve.

It recognizes that children living with the unique problems of ASD require highly specialized care, which places a tremendous burden on their families. In addition, individuals affected by ASD may have needs that various treatments can meet; therefore, its broad LLC team offers various pediatric outpatient services. These services are provided under one roof to alleviate stress, inspire optimism, and serve as a trustworthy source of hope for needy people.

Its Autism Therapy Centers provide an innovative, interprofessional 360 Care approach encompassing various therapies and services. These consist of the following:

The core of its comprehensive autism therapy program is ABA, which is used with other therapies to promote meaningful, positive change and independence.

In a pleasant and encouraging atmosphere, occupational therapy for children at Hopebridge addresses cognitive, sensory, and fine motor skills.

It provides children with high-quality speech and language therapies to educate them on how to communicate their needs in a manner others can comprehend.

Clinicians from its LLC's Feeding and Swallowing Therapies assist in addressing food fears and aversions to improve nutritional intake and family mealtimes.

Its family training aims to provide caregivers and parents with the skills necessary to provide optimal support and ABA techniques at home.
